The service is merging with Crunchyroll and they've created steps to make sure you still have access.
While Crunchyroll's parent company bought Vrv's parent back in 2021, the merger is now complete and the Vrv app will cease operation on May 3.
On March 1, 2022, it was announced that VRV would be merged into Crunchyroll itself, alongside Funimation and Wakanim.
VRV ceased operations on April 29, 2023.
Your VRV subscription will automatically migrate to Crunchyroll on April 3rd, 2023 — and the VRV app and website will no longer be in service as of May 3rd, 2023.
Please double check that the timezone is accurate and the date/time is correct in both places.
