Frequent failures of Roll20

If you are having trouble with images loading or loading issues in general, please also make sure that any antivirus or firewall software that you have installed (such as Comodo, Norton, etc.
) is not blocking any part of the Roll20 site from loading.

Couple things to check.
Make sure you are logged into google/chrome.
Check chrome's "Manage Passwords" settings.
Make sure roll20 is included on the "saved passwords" list and not on "never saved".

The final step is clearing your cache: we recommend pressing Ctrl+Shift+R on your game page, as well as a full cache clear.

There is a standard delay of a second or two in the video chat -- a lot of data has to make a trip to a server and then to your other group members, and the connection speeds and latency of the hops in between slow things down.
If you're seeing a larger delay than that, it's most likely a latency issue.

Troubleshooting Tips

Problem solved? Still can't connect to Roll20? Continue with Step 2.
Turn it on again. Clear internet cookies and browser cache.
Still stuck and not enjoying Roll20, then go to Step 3.
Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall running in the background. Now, if you can access Roll20, be informed that your security software is causing problems. Try adding Roll20 to the set of trusted sites.
DNS is a service that translates Roll20 into a machine-readable address called an IP address. In most cases, this job is done by your ISP. If only specific sites are not opening, it is likely to be corrupted.
