Frequent failures of Lightspeed
In the case of an internet outage or other network issue, the terminal may be connected to a different network, or your network may have lost its connection.
Your Lightspeed Payments terminal should be connected to the same network as your Lightspeed Retail register.

"Gateway error" or "Communication with processor failed" If the error occurs while swiping cards, check that the card reader was purchased from Lightspeed Retail.
Only card readers purchased from Lightspeed Retail will work properly.
If the error occurs while manually entering a card, re-enter the card information.
