Frequent failures of Toast

Physically disconnect the reader from the device it's connected to.
Then, force quit the app by swiping up on your terminal and closing the app.
Power off the device and then connect the reader once more.
Turn the device back on and re-open the Toast app.

Hold down the power button and the volume up button simultaneously for about 12 seconds.
The screen will flash and the Toast logo will appear if the reboot was successful.

Press and hold the power button until you see the Power Menu.
Select the option to Reboot.
