(Gray News) - Owlet Baby Care, Inc.
will discontinue selling its popular Smart Sock product after receiving a warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration.
The Smart Sock is a device that can be used to monitor and track a baby's heart rate, oxygen level and sleep trends.

Owlet also specifies on its website that the FDA's warning letter is not a recall of the product and that no safety issues have been identified.
"There has not been any change to your product's functionality or a request from the FDA to exchange or return your product at this time," the statement said.
